Harper Lee and To Kill a Mockingbird

Let's get started! The first novel we will be reading this semester is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Author, Harper Lee, has been in the news lately with the announcement that she is releasing a second book decades after her she published her first, our reading. To Kill a Mockingbird. Harper Lee's story as a writer is a fascinating one, since her most famous book is her only published work! Before we get into reading her famous and historically groundbreaking novel, check out Harper's website Harper Lee, to learn a little bit about more about her as well as our reading before we begin.
